In this video Peter demonstrates the literati bonsai approach. Literati bonsai is a styling technique which uses bonsai wire or ribbon to shape the trunk. Here Peter transforms a once poker straight tree into a bonsai with an interesting shape, simply by using raffia ribbon and thick bonsai wire.
